“CAUTION: For use with information technology equipment.” That’s what it says on the bottom of my iPhone USB power adapter. While I think it’s pretty random, it’s probably equally as random that I read that small print on the bottom of that little thing.

I guess I’m not the only one to notice. Ha!

Ok, so it’s a geek thing. It’s still funny.

Twitter Suffers Minor Period Of Uptime Overnight

For the non-geeks, what makes it funny is that it would normally be news if there was downtime, not uptime. Since Twitter has been down so much recently, this particular headline is funny.

Britain’s Got Talent – Michael Jackson

It shows it’s 10 plus minutes long but it really ends after about 3:30. The one I’m posting here is by far the best quality one that I could find… Na, na, na, na, na, na!

UPDATE: The “higher quality” one had some hiccups… I reverted back to the “regular” one that has about 2.5 Million views. Pretty sure that should work fine…

I just saw commercials for 3 ok shows on NBC tonight.  And, one is on right now that’s not so bad.  Is “must see tv” back?

Heck, I have no idea.  I haven’t had much interest in TV lately.  Time.  Responsibilities.  Travel.  Whatever… I think TV has just sucked for a few years now.  Movies haven’t been that great either.  I’ve gone to a few movies lately, but that’s just because it’s something to do.  Movies haven’t been bad, like TV’s been bad.  But, I just haven’t cared much.

I’d rather go for a walk and take some pictures, or go for a drive in the mountains.  The mountains are nice around here.

Hey, we can call this a Casual Friday post.  It’s Friday already… somewhere.

Hmmm… Maybe it’s because other things are more interesting, or funny.  (Cheers, Disco!)

Among other interesting timeline facts, here’s one interesting tidbit.

“Philips’ plan for a CD with a 11.5cm diameter had to be changed when Sony insisted that a disc must hold all of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.

The longest recording of the symphony in record label Polygram’s archive was 74 minutes and so the CD size was increased to 12cm diameter to accommodate the extra data.”

Check out these fun snow storm pictures!  (I say fun, because I grew up in MN and can relate to and enjoy these.)  BTW, these pictures show a “real” snow and a “real” reason to close work and school.  Even with this much, many of my friends and family were still wondering if school or work might be closed for the day.  They are.

Uh oh… now I guess I better show up at any of my jobs here in the Seattle area.  I’m on record now showing that I should be able to know how to deal with this stuff.  Bummer.

I wonder what the odds are that in a 48 hour period I would have emails from two different people named Ron, two different people named Heather and two different people named Kerri/Kerry.  To complicate that, I talked with 4 of the 6 on the phone, as they called me and said, “Hi, this is ___.”  And, to complicate that even more, 5 of the 6 were related to my job hunt.

I think I kept them all straight, but I just looked through my email and verified this.  It strikes me as a unique experience.  Hey, it’s Friday, and I’m ready for the weekend!  This was a busy week.
