I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

New Feature: Email Subscriptions!

WordPress has added a great new feature: Email Subscriptions! Over the next few days, I’ll be rolling this out onto the various blogs I administer. (UPDATE: You’ll find it in the left navigation column here on this particular blog.) It’s a great way for readers to follow along and manage their own subscription.  What a [...]

2 months

I haven’t updated in a couple months.  I’m still around.  You can probably find me babbling via http://twitter.com/megadrivel or otherwise not doing many blog updates.  Just chillin’ for the summer…

Online Social Sabbatical

http://megadrivel.com/2009/05/31/online-social-sabbatical/
“My priorities are where I spend my time.  I need to adjust.  As of June 1, 2009, I am taking an online social sabbatical.  For a while, I will not be doing any online social networking, blogging, tweeting, commenting, replying, etc.  I will still do emails and text messages.  So, if you want or need [...]

Theme Testing

It’s an early Sunday morning and I’m testing themes for this blog (and maybe others too).  I think it’s time to change it up…
UPDATE: Well, that was relatively short lived. I went back to the same theme I was using before, because it has the things I want for Archives as well as an [...]

TechProfound

Tweblog.com just got rebranded as TechProfound.  The whole point is that everything will just work.  That’s the way it should be.

Christmas Theme

Hey, it’s back!  I just setup the Christmas theme here on this blog, along with snow falling.  It’s so fitting, especially as I’m back in Minnesota and it’s a snowy, winter wonderland outside, right now.  Enjoy it while it lasts!

UPDATE: 12/14/2008: Another big change…  This blog got rebranded…  Now, it’s TechProfound. Guess what?!  It’ll all just work…
Here’s a quick note to mention a bit of a change happening here on Tweblog.com.  I’m going to start posting more geek stuff and more work related things.  With my new job (Stay tuned for more on [...]

sticky posts

In the interest of generating conversation and helping spur writing ideas, I’m using a new feature called “sticky posts” that keeps a specific post stuck to the front page.  I’m sure I’ll learn many other ways to use this.  Right now I think it’s a cool idea and a nice way to feature content.

blogger awesomeness

This is cool. WordPress.com keeps getting better. Now they save 5 previous drafts of published posts, in case you want to go back.
When I switched to WordPress in July of 2006, I did it because they were innovating and I had some faith that they’d keep doing so. It may have been [...]
