With the official start of the winter games happening today, I’m having a good time this morning checking out various sites related to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. It’s particularly fun being close, now that I am back living in Seattle, WA, just a couple/few hours south of Vancouver, BC. I may try to go up to Vancouver to spend some time in the area during the games.
Seriously, how often does the chance come along when the Olympics are this close?!
Here are a couple sites, a couple mobile sites and a couple iPhone apps.

(iPhone App) 2010Guide – Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games: The Official Mobile Spectator Guide

It’s also looking like the weather in Vancouver, BC and the weather in Whistler/Blackcomb, BC might be a bit on the warm side for ‘winter’ games. I hear they are trucking in snow. Regardless, it will be festive… that’s pretty certain!
UPDATE: Here is the official Facebook page for the 2010 Olympics.
