I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

rain

So, I’ve been back in Minneapolis, Minnesota now, for at least a little while, long enough to soak in some major differences between here and Seattle, Washington.  One big one that I’ve commented about before is the rain.  Everyone thinks of Seattle and rain.  Well, if that’s the case, since being back in the Midwest since May, I’d have to say that everyone should think of the MIdwest and SUN!  That along with rolling thunder are the two biggest things that I missed while I was staying in the Pacific Northwest.

I woke up this morning to the pelts of rain on the window, a few inches from my head.  Then I heard the thunder.  As I’ve been listening, it’s been rolling for a couple hours.  Something about that is just calming.  Even as much as it can be scarry, it’s calming for me.  It’s also a big blessing to have the rain right now.  It is needed and the grass already looks so much healthier.
