I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

Deciding to be happy is vital.

Once again, from some communications this morning, I’m happy to learn of situations in my life, and in the lives of other people, where deciding to be happy is vital. I wrote a little bit about it with my “tethering molasses” post. (Read past the first couple paragraphs to see what that post is really about.) Seth Godin wrote about it more with his “Angry people are different” post.

We can decide how we respond to situations around us. There are options. We may not always like the options, but there are options. We can thrive on deciding to be happy and trying to understand how blessed we are. Yes, we can decide to be happy.
