I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

the bigger person

Sometimes we have to be really loud to make it know that we mean business.

Sometimes we have to listen to make it known that we mean business.

Sometimes we have to mute ourselves to make it know that we mean business.

Sometimes we have to encourage others.

Sometimes we have to praise others.

Sometimes we have to deflect praise.

Sometimes we have to shutup.

Sometimes we have to step back.

Sometimes we have to be patient.

All the time, we are better if we try to be the bigger person.

Nobody ever gains by being vindictive.  That’s pretty absolute.

P.S. By being the bigger person, in this setting, I’m not trying to compare one person to another person.  I’m trying to imply handling ourselves with maturity and poise and doing whatever it takes to have no regrets.  And, that often takes being the bigger person and thinking ahead.
