I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

summer refresh

I’m going to take a break from blogging and from reading blogs. I need a summer refresh. I’ll be as out of the loop as possible at least thru July, maybe longer. I’m going to focus on getting more in shape, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Just do it.
Because I can.
UPDATE (7/25/2007): I just [...]

This web 2.0 stuff is not new.

It’s just re-engineered magic!
OK, it is new.  But, my point is that there was just as much cool, new web stuff going on back in the 90’s.  It’s just taken quite a while for bandwidth to catch up, for adoption to make roots, and for us Americans to fight and resist change.

stopping to smell the flowers

This morning, I saw and appreciated something that I want to emulate.
As I went for a walk around Green Lake, just north of Seattle, there was an elderly woman who was getting into her car.  She was putting a walker into her trunk first, then slowing lumbering her way towards the driver door.  She had shiny [...]

I use this all the time.

my world

Welcome to a perception of my world.
I think this is Dilbert.  It was emailed to me from a co-worker, with no citation.  I’ll update here if I can find where it’s from.

It is not always rainy in Seattle.

25 Things I Have Learned in 50 Years ~ by Dave Barry

Wisdom comes in many forms.  In my opinion, here are some tidbits.

14. Nobody is normal.

16. If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be “meetings.”

21. A person who is nice to you, but rude to the [...]

Execupundit.com: Quote of the Day

I don’t trust these “Qute of the Day” things.

I guess I’ll have to do a little thinking and then come back with some random info… I’m listed at the bottom… Execupundit.com: Tag

This is how I found these videos.  Jeremiah Owyang gave a Hat Tip to Lee Lefever for Common Craft Show.  I’ve had the RSS one linked in the upper right of this blog on [...]

Interesting July 4th Trivia

Found via Encarta: 1826: Fifty years to the day after the approval of the Declaration of Independence, which they both had a hand in drafting, former presidents Thomas Jefferson and John Adams die on the same day.

My Current Blogs

Tweblog
Getsch.com
4×4 Weekend
TechProfound
HoopsTech

While that subject is accurate, it’s not very true.  Those are the blogs that I currently have the ability to publish to and own.  They are not all that up to date.

Tweblog is current, but still could use a better About Me page.
Getsch.com is supposed to be family stuff, but it’s not really getting any [...]
