After yesterday’s “not feelin’ it” post, I tried to make sure I rested well last night. It worked ok. This weekend will hopefully cap off charging my batteries.
Today I have a few meetings that will take up about half my day. That’s common on Mondays or Fridays because that’s when our consultants try to be in their respective offices, and are less likely to be at client sites. I’m actually on a conference call right now.
I’m going to have to trim my meeting attendance because I now have a more concrete plan that goes at least through August, with tasks that I need to to work on – now. Our plans clearly go through the end of the year and beyond, but actual tasks with expected deliverable dates now go through August.
So, this afternoon, I’m planning on communicating with various teams to let them know that after a few months of observing and listening in their meetings, I’m now more ready to start working on things and to actually do the upgrades that will help make their work lives better!
In short… it’s time to buckle down.
