I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

service with an attitude

Read this blog post by Jonathan Schwartz, the CEO and President of Sun.

http://blogs.sun.com/jonathan/entry/what_service_means_to_me

I think attitudes like his makes an enormous difference in the success of any organization. In that same regard, I view just the act of having this attitude as a form of leadership. Even if I disagree with strategy or with tactics, I will look past those to see results – when the attitude is right, and when it is reflected by leadership in action.

From his corporate bio page:

“An inveterate blogger, Schwartz has led Sun’s drive to engage the marketplace, and redefine corporate transparency.”

Maybe that’s another part of why I like him, and similar personalities.
