I think I’m just not in the mood to go out this weekend. Right now, I’m a no show with some friends at an Irish pub. I drove by, and saw the long line to get in, and to wait in the rain. I’m just not in the mood. It is kind of funny to say that, because I put on a green shirt, and I was in the mood a little earlier today. Oh well. I think the busy week at work is catching up, and I simply need to charge my batteries.
So, I’m at home, out on the deck, watching the end of Layer Cake. Being the geek that I am, I like the way they did the title. L4YER CAKE It’s the first time I’ve used my new laptop to watch a movie.
I think it will be a very short time before I want everything to be in HD. Monitors and LCD screens for everything are coming down in cost so much. It’s all just a matter of time until so much of the stuff we use feels like it’s just always been that way. Well, here’s to remembering SD, when SD was not HD and there wasn’t a SuperHD or MegaHD or UltraHD. Those will come too. They always do.
Blah, blah, blah… I’m rambling.
I kind of miss some of my family and friends. I have not visited Minnesota and my friends and family there, since May of last year. I probably will not get back again until June of this year, when my youngest sister is getting married. That should be a fun time. I’m excited for her. (Weird. You should read that in monotone, to get my mood. I’m excited. Monotone. Weird.)
OK. Enough for now…

Hey, what a coincidence, my younger brother is getting married in June!
That’d be Andy Bird commenting about Nathan Bird because I was commenting about Naomi Getsch and NxN = (Nathan)(Naomi) = wedding in June which will make Andy (and Nathan and the rest of their siblings) all siblings-in-law with me (and the rest my siblings) excet Nathan and Naomi because they will be husband and wife.
I think I got that right, grammar mistakes included, but fun none-the-less, and probably funner in June when we all hang out.
