I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

Google Reader Feature Request

I’d like Google Reader to have Feed Enclosure Management.

I mentioned this a little bit in a previous post.  I think it’s worth calling out here again, because I really miss having it, like I used to have with FeedDemon.

I’d like for there to be some sort of management of enclosures within feeds.  For some feeds I want to have the enclosure automatically downloaded (example: podcasts or vlogs I may want to get every time they’re posted, all the time).  For other feeds, I want to be able to single click on the feed, and then have it downloaded (example: podcasts or vlogs I may only want when I see what it’s about and I happen to want that particular one).

I think this set of features feature would make Google Reader better.  I know you’re listening.  If there’s a list of features and things you’re working on that is public, that would be cool to see.  Does anyone know of a public list or blog post like that?
