I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

Google Reader is listening.

I’m big on listening.  Nick Baum from the Google Reader team just posted about how they are listening.  I’ve been using their product now for a couple weeks.  I’m loving it.  It’s much faster to get through more info, than other systems I’ve tried before. One thing that I’d add to what Nick posted today [...]

About Me

For a while now, I’ve been afraid to write an About page. I’ve been afraid because I thought it would peg me down to what I was or was not. Yes, it does do that. But, now it’s 2007 and I’m ok with that. I’m ok with people thinking whatever they want, and with disagreeing [...]

Outlook Web Access is doing it right!

moderated comments for a little while

Due to a recent upswing in spam comments here on this blog, I’m going to turn on comment moderation for a bit.  Please know that I am not doing this to screen any valid comments.  I’ll do my best to approve all real comments ASAP.  I want to do everything possible to increase conversation and [...]

Influencers Have Ripples

Here’s an interesting, logical and helpful article about Influencing Influencers.  I like the diagram and more specifically, I like the way blogs and bloggers are getting traction as more people learn the power and influence that our voice has. In that post, David references this Marketing Profs article as the initiator.  Thanks David, and as a [...]

a happier morning routine

This morning I realized that I have a fairly set morning routine.  It’s nothing too big or OCD or anything like that.  I walk into my home office and get on my PC and start going. I often watch TV in the background, via Slingbox.  Usually I watch CNN.  This morning, the previous channel was already set [...]
