OK – let’s just say that I am not a fan of some companies, and I do not think that they value my business, and I have given them dozens of opportunities (literally dozens) to keep my trust (over the past 7 years, it’s not just something new and recent). But, “they” would rather not have my business. BTW, “my business” as it refers to “them” was up to around 50 domains at one time, and is now around 30 - as I continued to struggle with their poor service. Oh well! Their loss!

Now, for some very positive news…
Due to some continued, cool features that WordPress keeps adding, today I am making some changes with tweblog.com that will change this blog’s URL and will affect all tweblog.com email. Previously I had several email addresses listed with tweblog.com. They were all forwarding to toby@getsch.net. As of a few minutes ago, all of those are gone. Now, no email sent to anything at tweblog.com will go through.
That’s a good thing in that it keeps me on my quest to simplify, and also a good thing because now this blog will truly reside at tweblog.com and will not be a redirection URL, through an unreliable, annoying, can’t be trusted company mentioned in a rant above a different company.
Now, I am off to clean up / update the various places where I used to list email addresses using tweblog.com. For now, use toby@getsch.net as my email contact. Also, within the next 24 to 48 hours, all previous URL’s for this blog will land at tweblog.com as a permanent home – - well, as permanent as we ever are with Internet and web stuff.
UPDATE: This also affects various other links with technorati, search engines, feeds with various alerts, etc. So, all that stuff will be simplified and pretty much all starts over again today… http://tweblog.com is it!

I know what you mean when it comes to service. And you can never really tell by price. The cheapest one I have tried hasn’t been good and one of the more expensive ones hasn’t either – too much “well no one else has that so we don’t do that” stuff.
