IE7 was locking up and taking too long to load pages and too long to close tabs. So, I switched back to using Firefox as the default.
I don’t think my family will have the same problems, because I don’t think they’re using as much beta software and have as many personalized settings as I do. So, I’m still recommending it for them.
IE7 still has to do lots of work in the speed department. For that matter, so should Firefox. Faster, faster, faster… More, more, more!
