I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

I’m awake. I’m not really tired.

I don’t know why I woke up at 1:45 AM.  It’s been about an hour now.  I think I fell asleep around 10 last night.  Not much sleep, but no use fighting it…

Google Reader Bundles So, I’m checking out some new feeds to read.  I got most of them from Google Reader, and it’s bundles of feeds that you can subscribe to with one click.  That’s a neat idea.  I wish I could get the feed for my blog to be listed in one of their groupings.  I don’t know what section it would fit in best.  I tend to have a variety of topics, and I don’t think that I’m going to change that any time soon.  My tagline is “because i got stuff to say” and I don’t think that categories work well for flow of consciousness writing -  if that makes any sense, at about 3 AM…

For those of you that don’t know what a feed is, it’s a way to subscribe to various content online and have it show up in a feed reader, so that you don’t have to go back to a web site all the time, just to see if the content has been updated.  If you subscribe to the feed, it just shows up in your feed reader.

I referenced Google Reader above.  That’s a decent one to check out and see what I’m talking about.  It is an online only version.  I also use a feed reader that allows me to read things when I’m not online (FeedDemon).  That has a cost.  The Google one requires you to be online, in order to read any of the content that you have subscribed to.  It’s also free.  I suspect most of you that would be interested in a feed reader are also probably going to be online when you want to read…

…That will change over time, and as more people get used to this stuff and want to sit and read, while sitting on the sofa or in the car or on the bus, etc.  For now, it’s 3 AM and I’m not sure if this is making sense to anyone, besides me.  ;)
