On the other hand, I went to the ectreme when I moved out West to live: whatever essentials I could bring on the plane is what I would keep. Everything else I could buy...all I own still are hygene, clothes, my laptop and its accessories, mp3 player, and a few cds and dvds that I keep in a 32-count case. And bed stuff, food, and a few other essentials, all of which can fit into my big backpack or a luggage case. Bare essentials. That is it. People living in college dorms own more than me.
