Pretty cool here, using the new Windows Live Writer to post this. I’ve only had it installed a few minutes and have not formed any opinions other than, “pretty cool.”
It allows a simple install of the Windows Live Toolbar that is easy to customize to get only the buttons and things I want. I’ll probably have some fun trying new features here today. I used the “Blog It” button to make this post. It walked me through a 5 to 10 second configuration that let’s me post to directly to my WordPress blog.
Stay tuned… I may switch from using BlogDesk, but I want to try this for a few days first.
BTW, it’s got a sweet WYSIWYG editor that makes this post look exactly like the blog it’s posting too. It literally looks like I’m typing write onto the actual blog, with the same fonts and title of the post and links. Neat.
