From the latest batch of pictures posted to My Flickr, a set from a recent visit by Steve Davis who hails from Minnesota, currently via Washington DC…
This is the house boat from the movie Sleepless in Seattle. Steve snapped this picture while we relaxed on one of the Argosy Cruises.
We also caught a nice sunset at Alki Beach Park while playing catch with a football on the sandy beach.
And, part of the Argosy Cruise took us by Bill Gates’ House. If you want more info on that, you can make a paper cutout version with all the bells and whistles.
And, since I know people will find this via web searches for Bill Gates’ House, here is some info from the Paper Toys site referenced above.
Bill Gates’ house lies on the east shore of Lake Washington. The address is 1835 73rd Ave NE, Medina, WA 98039. [map] The cost was $97 million and the entire house covers approximately 66,000 square feet, much of it underground. It took seven years to build. The house was designed by James Cutler.
Bill’s house in Medina, WA is 3 miles from my apartment in Bellevue, WA. If only money did grow on trees, maybe I could get a job raking leaves! Some stats on my apartment…
Blah, blah, blah… in my second bedroom/office I have a computer that runs Windows…

I came across your website looking for pictures from the movie Sleepless in Seattle. I saw you had a picture of the house boat. Can you please tell me where you took that picture and where the houseboat is located ?
Thank you very much,
Robert Gralla
The picture was taken from the boat on an Argosy Cruise.
