I had been using Semagic to post to LiveJournal before. When inquiring about a client to do similar with WordPress, Semagic was listed. I’m pretty sure it’s more designed for use w/ LJ, but we’ll try it here for WP. At least it already has my spell check dictionary up to date…
UPDATE: Looks like it works. And, here we’re testing it to do an update.

Hi Toby,
I’ve tried Semagic with WordPress but it doesn’t worked.
Could you give me some information about your experience with that product?
Thanks in advance,
Paris
Sorry it took me a little while to get to this. I was out of town, and couldn’t spare the time to look up the links.
Short version: I got Semagic to work, but it is designed to work best with Live Journal. I quit using it after I found some other clients that worked better.

I followed the directions for XML-RPC support, that WordPress uses. But, like I said, I didn’t stay with Semagic for long. I was moving over from using Live Journal and was familiar with it. Now I use Windows Live Writer, and I like it a lot.
