I’m in a spot where I want to have some more features and a little more progressive approach to getting new features for my blog(s). I have done web hosting in the past. However, I’m not in that business any more and want to have something hosted by someone else. I’d prefer to have the host of that service be the same company that does the software. In other words, I don’t want to get something and then have to install anything somewhere else.
I’ve been using LiveJournal for a while. I also have a couple blogs at MSN Spaces and a couple with Blogger. Different services have different features and integrate differently into the various ways I like to use my blogs. That’s what makes it a dilemma. It would be nice if I could morph several services together and get more of what I want. So far, I can’t do that with my skill set. However, I do know that other people and companies are working on trying to do that sort of thing, for very similar reasons.
So, stay tuned as I may be switching blog services in the very near future…
