I don’t think that one needs followers, in order to be a leader. Doing the right thing, at any cost, that’s being a leader. Many times that does not mean that there are followers. Often times, that means that there are definitely not followers. Doing the right thing is being a leader. Therefore, one does not need followers in order to be a leader.
It’s true this time, but that doesn’t make it true all the time. I still prefer to describe what it means to me.
