I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

State of the Union

http://www.whitehouse.gov/stateoftheunion/2006/ UPDATE: Windows Media Video &  Real Media Video Thoughts? Typical Right/Left Dogma? Clap.  Stand up.  Don’t clap.  Sit down. Basch! I think a lot of the talk is just rhetoric.  I’m starting to believe that whatever does more to unite us, is going to make us stronger – even if I’m wrong – just put [...]

updated theme – and I’m back

Don’t be scared.  It’s ok…  I’m just trying to freshen it up a bit.  The Kermit thing is fun to bring back every once in a while.  But, now I’m doin’ a little blue thing, with a sort of grayish thing.  Maybe it’s a mood thing – Seattle – January.  Well, today there was a [...]

Checkin’ out for the weekend.

I’m gonna chill for a bit this weekend.  I may write some, but I’ll save drafts and consider posting them next week.  Life gets busy, and I need to keep a healthy balance.  C ya in a few…

Katy Wehr – some good folk music

This past Friday night I saw Katy Wehr down in Tacoma.  She is an old friend from Minnesota, and a long time family friend.  It’s really cool to see people progress through life and to watch them use their gifts and abilities in fun ways. Her music and voice is a great fit for folk [...]

Hard code your weather for Seattle.

Actually, NO!  Today there is a 0% predicted chance of rain.  Yesterday it was about 20% and I road my motorcycle to and from work.  I’m diggin’ the weather here.  I’m diiggin’ the beautiful sights of mountains and sunsets and lots of nice people.  Speaking of which, I still need to post some of those [...]

XL is XL in Seattle

That would be Super Bowl 40 is Extra Large in Seattle. GO HAWKS!!!

Does Slingbox rock?

Ummm… YES! Yesterday, I picked up a Slingbox.  I got a good deal from  my local Best Buy.  It’s available all over.  There happened to be an open box that brought the cost down to $208 from it’s scheduled $250.  Then I added a $10 gift card I had received over the holidays, brining my [...]

Instant Domain Search – It works.

It checks domain names – as you type!  Right now it’s only for .com/.net names, but it sure saves time and has helpful links for whois lookups. http://instantdomainsearch.com/ UPDATE:  They updated and it does .org names too.  Nice.
