I write this blog. It does not represent anyone else's opinions or perspectives. Regardless of employers or clients or any other associations, this is my blog and it does not speak for anyone else. I have learned that perception is more powerful than reality. So, we get to experience the joys of claiming and disclaiming. Isn't that super!

Google is on the move!

I’m catching up on my blog reading, now that the 3rd game of the World Series is finally over.  I’m looking at Slashdot right now.  It’s Google this and Google that.  So I searched for Google (funny! ”I searched for Google”) among the posts and found it mentioned 15 times in the 12 posts since that last time I checked Slashdot, earlier today.  That’s probably not even 12 hours.  They got all sorts of stuff going on.  Here are the posts that mention the word Google.

Google and Oregon Launch Open Source Initiative

Google Developing Database Service

Google Summer of Code Results

Building a Massive Single Volume Storage Solution?

UPDATE:

In continuing my catching up on my blog reading… Memeorandum has 43 mentions in only 11 posts – all within the same time frame as noted above.  (Of course, with the way Memeorandum works, their listings change as blog discussions change.  So it may not stay that way and may be much different for whenever you are reading this post.)

Hmmm… Google is on the move!
