Chya! Wow!
Check out the Locate Me feature of MSN’s Virtual Earth. Kinda scary and cool. So far it’s been accurate for me today at 3 different locations, with 3 different Wi-Fi networks provided by 2 different ISP’s. But, it was off once when my boss tried it. It placed him on the other side of the freeway by my work, and he’s using the same Wi-Fi access point as I’m when at work.
I’m researching this more to see how this might really help with some mapping needs for various projects. Has something to do with geocoding…
